NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Fouts joined Sports USA Radio Network in 2008 as a play by play announcer and game analyst. Fouts played fifteen-years with the San Diego Chargers, where he was a six-time Pro Bowl selection at quarterback. He set an NFL record with 4,082 yards passing in 1979 and extended it to 4,715 yards in 1980 and to 4,802 yards in 1981. His 43,040 total passing yards made him the second most prolific passer in NFL history when he retired following the 1987 season. He was named the NFL MVP in 1982, and was named AFC Player of the Year in both 1979 and 1982. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1993, his first year of eligibility. Dan Fouts' 13-year broadcasting credits include Monday Night Football, the Super Bowl, the Pro Bowl, and the NFL Playoffs. He has served as an NFL game analyst and college play by play announcer for ABC and ESPN. Fouts recently joined CBS as a game analyst on NFL and SEC games. |
