Brian Golden Position: Studio Anchor

In his ninth year with the Sports USA Radio Network, Brian Golden serves as studio host for College Football and NFL broadcasts. Golden produces and hosts "NFL Sunday Warmup," the 30-minute pregame show preceding each week's NFL doubleheader which includes interviews with four NFL players and network NFL Insider Ted Sundquist. Following the weekly NFL doubleheader, Golden co-hosts the "NFL Sunday Wrapup" postgame report with Rod Van Hook. During college football halftime reports, Golden produces and hosts the Lott Trophy Impact Player of the Week segment. A four-time nominee as sports talk host of the year by the Southern California Sports Broadcasters Association, Golden formerly hosted gameday activities on the Penn State, UCLA and Southern California football networks. The 25-year veteran of the Antelope Valley Press in Palmdale, Calif. is a former voter in the Associated Press college football poll, and votes annually for the Maxwell and Wooden Awards. The AP has honored Golden four times as a top 10-in-the-nation sports columnist in his circulation category. The New York native will cover his ninth college football national championship game in January in Pasadena, Calif., and his 23rd Super Bowl in Super Bowl XLIV in Miami next February.
